Andi Carroll
Founder and Co-Owner
Andi is the founder and co-owner of Home Careolina. She started the company in 2004. She and her husband, Rob, have lived in Davidson since 1996. Originally from Arkansas, she obtained her BA degree in Journalism from The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Prior to starting her home care agency, she worked for an advertising agency in Little Rock, Arkansas. After that, she worked as an aide for U.S. Congressman Bill Alexander in Washington, DC, and then served as the Director of the Legislative and Public Education Fund for the American Resort Developers also in Washington, DC. Upon re-entering the work force, Andi wanted to start a business that filled a need in the community and was service oriented. She also wanted her children to see the importance of taking care of older adults in our community. At the time, there was not a local home care agency in Davidson, Cornelius or Huntersville. Andi is proud of the reputation Home Careolina has earned being in business for over twenty years.
Lynn Davis
Co-Owner
Lynn and her husband, Brad, have lived in the Lake Norman community since 1989, raising 3 children and have 3 grandchildren. Lynn attended Limestone College of Gaffney, S.C. where she studied Business Administration. She previously worked for 17 years at Duke Energy’s Catawba and McGuire Nuclear Stations. She left her role in Duke’s engineering department to become a stay at home mom and get more involved in her community. Working in the nuclear field gave Lynn an appreciation for the importance of processes, procedures, and attention to detail which has been directly transferable to working in the area of senior care. Lynn has been a supportive member of the community allocating time over the years to assist at the Mooresville Soup Kitchen and to drive the Community Food Truck collecting donations from local restaurants and grocery stores. She has actively participated in various charitable fund raisers for ALS, the National Marrow Donor Program, and the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Ina is very detail oriented and makes certain we only hire the best caregivers for our clients. Her compassion from senior care is not only seen in her daily work but also her volunteer work with hospice. Ina often represents Home Careolina at local health fairs and senior centers. In Ina’s free time, she enjoys working as a licensed massage therapist and spending time with her husband, Jeff and their three adult children. They enjoy spending time on Lake Norman and are actively involved in their church parish, St. Mark’s Catholic Church.

Home Careolina is confident that no one does it better in the industry. Demi’s greatest joy comes from being mom to her two adorable daughters who keep her on her toes!
Laurie Watson, RN
Nursing Supervisor
Laurie has been a resident of Huntersville for 25 years. After graduating nursing school in 1999, Laurie worked primarily in pediatrics before taking a break to raise her five children. She resumed her nursing career in 2019 at Home Careolina and was able to embrace her passion for senior care. Laurie is dedicated to making each client and family member with whom she works feel genuinely cared for and valued. Laurie is often the nurse that Home Careolina clients and families see at the initial assessment and quarterly supervisory visits. While not working, Laurie and her husband are enjoying the new life phase of being empty nesters. Laurie enjoys playing tennis, going on outdoor adventures with her golden retriever, and hanging out with her family.
Barbara Moore, RN, BSN, CMC
Director of Care Management and Nursing Services
Barbara grew up in Charlotte. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1998. After college, she spent time in Denver, Colorado, where she worked in clinical areas, including neurosurgery, orthopedics, and rehabilitation. Years later, she transitioned her career to hospital case management and nurse management in community health.
After moving back to North Carolina in 2004, Barbara found a passion for working with seniors as she shifted her career and served as a Director of Senior Adult Ministries for a large church in the Lake Norman area. There she was able to plan programs geared toward seniors, lead support groups, and provide counsel for those dealing with health crises, chronic health conditions, and grief. In 2017, Barbara joined Home Careolina where she served in various nursing and administrative roles. In 2023, she decided to pursue becoming a Certified Nurse Care Manager and worked for a local care management company. In 2024, she became certified by the National Academy of Certified Care Managers.
Now back at Home Careolina in a new role, Barbara finds it an honor to walk alongside families during uncertain times and help provide guidance with empathy, professionalism, and resolve. When not working, Barbara can be found playing tennis or hanging out with her husband and three sons on the lake. She loves gardening, cooking, and reading.
